"QUALITY MANAGEMENT AND GLOBAL CHALLENGES IN HIGHER EDUCATION" 6TH - 7TH AUGUST, 2010

1) Our Quality Circle:Reading Club:-

  • Inauguration – 10-1-07- Principal Dr. Amirita Patel has delivered a lecture on “The Old man and the Sea “ by Everest having way.
  • 17-1-07 – our student Purvi patel gave her opinion about “Satya Na Prayogo” by Mahatma Gandhi.
  • August 2007 – A Seminar was organized on “1857 – First Freedom Struggle”
  • Ms. Krupa Joshi gave a talk on a novel “Bharlo Agni” – by Mr. R.V. Desai
  • Ms. Urmila Zankat delivered a lecture on “1857-A freedom struggle & the movie “Mangal Pande”. Our students presented a drama “Mangalsutra” in a programme organized by CWDC & Reading club organized a discussion on the occasion of the birthday of Earnest Hemingway & Umashankar Joshi. Ms. Savita Chaudhari, Deshani Namrata, Viswa Shukla, Vegada Aartc, Darshita Jain & Rucha Limbachiya Participated in.

2) Workshop details:

The workshop of reading club was organized 28-29-30 November, 2008. It was sponsored by Gujarat Satya Academic, Gandhinagar. 55 girls have participated and read atleast 2 books. Special lectures & Guest lecture were also arranged. Mr. Mahendra Meghani, Mr. Mohanlal Patel, Dr. Mahendrasingh Parmar, Dr. Sombhai Patel have delivered the lectures.

Seminar on Examination reforms : 17th September 2011

U.G.C. sponsored One - Day Seminar on "Examination Reforms" has been organised by the college. Gandhinagar district colleges have been invited to participate in this seminar. One of the three distinguished guest speakers Dr. N.N. Jani, explained the need to use ICT in the preparation of the teaching content for the classroom. Second and third guest speaker Dr. Nirja Arun and Dr. V. Chari elaborately discussed the CBCS, new paper style, the grading system etc. with the participants. The seminar was coordinated by the college examination committee.
